ISS ESG has offered its dedicated and tailor made SFDR Principal Adverse Impact Solution since April 2021. This now covers a baseline universe of more than 8,000 corporate issuers and 190 countries, and for specific climate and social indicators, a significantly larger universe is provided in excess of 28,000 corporate issuers. The solution supports all mandatory corporate and sovereign / supranational indicators and metrics. Certain indicators are highly sector-specific and ISS ESG leverages its decades-long proprietary ESG research and assessment experience to assess relevance and materiality of the indicator to the industry in question, which defines the number of companies considered for data collection for each metric.
